SEA TO SUMMIT – THE SPECIALIST SOLO TENT

s2s

Carrying a lightweight tent is essential on long unsupported MTB rides. I have looked for the right product for quite some time and Adventure Inc, distributers for Sea to Summit in South Africa, gave me a solution.
The Specialist Solo Tent.

Weighing in at 635g (including poles and pegs) this has to be one of my favorite adventure products.
Its small, but has enough room for me to sit upright and move around quite easily. Its vestibule is large enough to put your basic equipment, like small backpack etc. Its fabric is waterproof and breathable. I experiences a bit of condensation inside, but very minimal. The inner door is mesh so the tent can stand open on those hot days.
This is a brilliant tent for those who are doing multiday races where weight and performance are key.
